So, I’m not doing so great at posting every week. But to be honest, there hasn’t been much to post about.
The last two weeks have been very flat in training terms. The main thing that’s been going on is a mammoth cold that doesn’t want to go. It came on around mid last week and is still lingering. It’s knocked any hope I had of doing any training before this weekend. By the time I’m back to it, it will have been nearly two weeks since I last did something. It’s getting quite worrying when I have an actual Ironman in less than a year!

If you’re out and about, you might just see me in my green training vest, attempting to be any good at running! Once this cold has gone of course.
I’ve also joined a gym. The idea is to build some strength and conditioning over the winter. I’m planning on doing a couple of classes, so I’ll try to write about how those get on. I’ve booked in for a HIIT class and I think I’d like to try a relaxation class at some point too.
I really need to shift some of this extra weight. I made a really good start and put it all back on with this cold.
It’s funny how making the decision to lose weight always makes you suddenly crave ALL the food! And for some reason chocolate just appears everywhere. And I really want cake!
